The mission of the Pole Fitness Alliance is to empower and inspire the worldwide pole community, propelling pole fitness to take its rightful place in the mainstream fitness arena. The PFA provides many instructional tools to make pole movement safe, accessible, and fun for everyone. These tools include teacher training courses, standardized curriculum, structured progressions, and techniques. We are coButtonmmitted to promoting the many benefits of pole dancing: developing strength, power, and fluidity of the body, enhancing the mind-body connection, increasing body image and self-confidence, and becoming part of a passionate, diverse and inclusive community.
If you have done any research at all on pole certification training, you know many of them are not even approved by governed fitness organizations. PFA offers you the industry’s most comprehensive curriculum at a fair price, while also being approved by organizations like the ones above.
PFA is approved by the American Council on Exercise (ACE), National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and the Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) in addition to international fitness governing bodies.
As with any type of recognized sport, the only way to show potential employers you are qualified to teach is to acquire a certification. This shows them you have received the proper training and helps them feel confident you know how to teach safely, and will not put their students in any danger. Credentials from PFA will help you stand out from other instructors who have not been certified, or whose certification has not been vetted by the proper organizations.
